Hilton Family Music (H.F.M.) is a family band singing Christian music. However, H.F.M. breaks all the stereo types. They have travelled throughout Canada, the US and parts of the world bringing their message of Jesus Christ and His love but in ways you might not expect.

Likened to the styling of the Charlie Daniels band, H.F.M. brings a blazing sound that excites audiences of all ages, race and cultural backgrounds. HFM evolved to the place they are today by experimenting with the poignant sound of the mandolin, mixed with the powerful edge of the lead guitar, blended with a sassy fiddle and the melodic rhythm of the acoustic guitar. Take that and add energetic percussions, a distinct bass, harmonica, keys, and three part vocal harmony and you have a modern country sound that will bless audiences regardless of genre preferences.

It's music with a message that keeps the wheels turning. Whether it’s playing at a church, a street mission, a theatre, an open air concert or the prison, it’s clear people come with needs; needs of encouragement, acceptance, healing, love, and motivation. H.F.M. brings songs they have written and arranged from personal experience and conviction, sung with passion and an unwavering trust that God’s word will not return unto Him void. Because H.F.M.’s message in music comes in the name of Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit, people leave changed and challenged.

H.F.M. now in its fifteenth year is still a young band. Hailing from rural Southern Ontario they are made up of industry veterans, when you consider some of its members have been playing since they were six years old. The band is made up of Eric Hilton, Cathy Hilton, Julia (Hilton) Johnson, Dale Hilton, and Greg Kekes. Their latest album, “Ready to Serve” , was nominated for Country Album of the Year and their song “Praise Him” was nominated for Southern Gospel Song of the Year by the GMA of Canada. While these accolades are an encouragement to the band, it’s speaking into the lives of people that bring them the greatest satisfaction.
